New sidewalk at corner in front of Brookline Village fire station has been dry for weeks but is still blocked by cones and bars, giving pedestrians crossing High St nowhere to safely stand or walk. A narrow section of sidewalk between the station driveway and the sidewalk is a shallow pit. Maybe the contractor was confused about how to fill it and has since forgotten.
