Broken and raised corner of sidewalk pavement a few feet from entry to 97 Marion street. My friend and I were walking toward Beacon street on Marion and her foot caught on the edge of the pavement and she was flung to the ground, landing on her face and breaking her front teeth. As I was helping her an elderly woman got out of a cab and went up to 99 Marion which was her entry way. She asked if we needed help and said she too had recently tripped over the same section of pavement. Unfortunately we were both in shock and I didn't get her name. I escorted to her house nearby ion Griggs road. Today she learned from her dentist she must undergo a root canal, a crown and gum graft at significant expense. This sidewalk is a real danger and must be fixed before another accident or even death from a fall.
